The Systems

Two modalities, one high-fidelity anatomy engine.

Every Deepscope system is built on the same CT and MRI derived anatomical models — over one hundred structures, standardised pathology, and real-time imaging that responds faithfully to transducer movement.

Hands-on simulation sessions utilizing physical canine models for authentic muscle memory development.

 Mannequin Simulator

Hands-on psychomotor training.

A tracked probe on a physical mannequin provides genuine tactile feedback and proper probe-handling mechanics — including sliding on the body surface. Instructors observe physical positioning while trainees visualise the anatomy on screen.

  • B-mode and M-modeSeamless switching between imaging modes during a scan.
  • Direct faculty oversightAnalyse a learner's actual hand movement while they scan.

Deepscope VR simulator in use with headset and live cast screen

Immersive scanning with live casting to an external display.

 VR Simulator

Immersive, self-directed learning.

A dynamic 3D environment on off-the-shelf headsets that mimics probe–patient interaction and spatial positioning. Large cohorts log practice hours and refine technique without continuous faculty supervision.

  • Virtual instructor guidanceProbe position guidance and testing built into the scan.
  • Capture and assessmentPause scans, capture stills and clips, measure with on-screen calipers for grading.
  • Standard hardwareRuns on cost-effective, commercially available headsets.

Content

Anatomy and pathology, reconstructed from real imaging.

Anatomy

Models based on CT and MRI include over one hundred anatomical structures: all chambers of the heart, liver and its vessels, the arterial system including branches of the aorta, the venous system including the IVC and key branches, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, bladder and bowel.

Pathology Library

  • Myocardial infarction — anterior and inferior
  • LV thrombus
  • Dilated cardiomyopathy — with and without thrombus
  • Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy — obstructive and non-obstructive
  • Aortic stenosis — calcific, bicuspid and rheumatic
  • Infective endocarditis

New pathologies are added continuously and included as free updates in all plans. Custom pathology builds are available on request.
